As your Wedding Celebrant I believe that every ceremony is special and unique and also a privilege to be a part of.
It is your day and whatever you have in mind for your wedding ceremony I will be sensitive to your values, needs and wishes.
You will find me to be warm, approachable and friendly and I will guide you through your ceremony reflecting the love you share as a couple, helping you to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Other services I offer include renewal of vows, baby naming ceremonies, elopements and same sex marriages.

The first step is that we meet to discuss your hopes and dreams for your wedding day. It is important you find someone you have a connection and feel comfortable with. If you decide that I’m the one for you then I can provide you with a selection of wordings for vows, readings and poems that you can choose from or we can discuss your own ideas that you may have. We can then start creating your ceremony ensuring it is just how you want it to be and reflects your relationship and the love you both share.
If you want to, we can book in a rehearsal at your chosen venue closer to your wedding day which is a time for us to go through your ceremony, for example where to stand and how to enter so you can relax and enjoy your day.
Ideally all the wedding party should attend so they know the arrangements and are comfortable and confident about their roles. On your wedding day I will ensure that everything runs smoothly. I will arrive at least half an hour before your guests to ensure everything is set up and to calm the groom’s nerves!
Baby Naming’s are a more straightforward service as they are not usually as long as other ceremonies due to the guest of honour being quite young and needing to feed and sleep!
I would be happy to meet with you to discuss what ideas you may have as to what you would like to be included in the ceremony and words that can be shared with family and friends. It is a lovely way of welcoming your child into the world surrounded by your family and friends and celebrating such an wonderful event.
I have readings and poems which you can take away with you to look through when you are relaxing at home or I am very happy to listen to any ideas that you may have yourselves about what you would like to be said (gifts that have been passed down through the generations)
It can be a beautiful ceremony when renewing your wedding vows. It doesn’t matter how long you have been married, if you have some special heartfelt words you would like to say to your husband or wife then there is no better time than either surrounded by your family and friends or at your special place that has great memories and meaning to you both.

ABOUT ME
I came over with my wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children from the UK to Auckland, New Zealand over 17 years ago. I became a wedding celebrant because I am a true romantic at heart. Occasions which bring people together, such as weddings, civil ceremonies, renewal of vows, same sex marriages or baby naming ceremonies are beautiful celebrations to be part of. I love my job!
I originally trained as a professional ballet dancer at an international ballet school in London, and have since worked in children's education whilst bringing up my own family. I am outgoing, trustworthy, friendly and love meeting new people, which of course is what being a celebrant is all about!
I am always professional, caring and considerate with each individual ceremony, working together with each couple to make it a truly unique, personal and special occasion. I pride myself on having an open-minded and non-judgemental outlook on life, taking each experience I am lucky enough to be involved in with a smile.
It is very important to find a celebrant who is someone you immediately feel a connection with. I am very happy to meet with you either in person or to talk on the phone. This will help to put your mind at ease in choosing the right person to conduct your ceremony. We can meet for up to 30 minutes free of charge with no further obligation.
